June 3, 2009..one year ago today.
I waited to post this week until today..because I wanted to be able to say one year ago TODAY we found out that newest member of our family was a BOY! Can you believe a year?? And that sweet baby will be 8 months on Tuesday. Wow..
Sarah graduated Mothers Day Out 2 weeks ago, and this Sept. (I think) she will start Kindergarten. She was VERY anxious about starting, but about a week ago she said she couldn't wait to start and make new friends. I am already prepared to be a basket case the day she starts. I barely made it through the MDO slide show without falling apart..She is our first baby and one of the sweetest gifts God gave us, and I can not imagine not being with her every day (all day)..
Reed man is kinda crawling..well mainly sliding on his stomach. He can sit up by himself and if he can get to something he can grab on to he will pull himself to a standing position. I think he may walk before he crawls, but we will see. He had tubes put in 2 weeks ago, which we had his checkup Tuesday and things look great. What a joy this little boy has been..even though two people that I love dearly threw temper tantrums the day we found out it was a boy they both love him DEARLY and wouldn't trade him for anything. Although, sometimes Sarah does say she wishes he was a girl..but those are the days he has pulled her hair for the 50th time and has a toy that she wants. :)

Well..hello there!
I figured I should update this since last time I did I was pregnant, and Reed is now almost 6 months! HA!!
We are adjusting to life with 2 kids..the transition has been challenging to say the least. But what blessing our children our. When we see them together..it makes our hearts melt. They love each other so much..and hopefully that will always be the case! :)
Reed is almost 6 months and is SO active. He is much more active then Sarah..guess its a boy thing! He cracks us up every day with his "sucking in air" laugh, his sweet kisses on the face, or just his love/hate relationship with his toys!
Sarah turns 5 in May..WHAT!! She is sassier and sweeter than ever. We are having her birthday at the American Girl Doll Store..which I am super excited about. Her favorite times (and mine too) are in the morning when she wakes up and comes and gets in bed with me...she gets right up against me and kisses and hugs me! Gosh I want that to last forever. Oh, and she has changed her name...everyone please meet Taylor Swift! :)

Baby Reed News!!
No..he is not here, yet! Last Thursday they sent me to the hospital for monitoring because I was having contractions. Which they saw, but I was not dilating and was still closed. They told me to rest because as my nurse put it "Those wimpy white boys lungs do not develop as fast as others!" Haha! I will be 36 weeks Friday..which they said would be better..but 37 weeks would be great! Well I went to the Dr. today and she checked me, and I am now dilated to a one! So in less than a week I have dilated a centimeter. Which she said was ok, I just need to watch my contractions and make sure I head to the hospital if they get more intense or closer together. Our little man may be here before we know it..or I could walk around for weeks and have to be induced..we will see! I will keep you posted!

Labor Day Weekend 2009!
Saturday morning we had Sarah's last ballet class..which she did not want to go to because we were leaving to go to East Texas after her class and she wanted to leave before. But she went, and from there Tobin, Sarah, my parents, brother and I headed to Winnsboro, Texas. My aunt, uncle, and grandfather live there. We love going down there..it is so much fun and one of those places you can really relax and there are no worries about time. The only downfall to the whole trip was both Sarah and I had a horrible cold, so I wasn't feeling to great... of course Sarah wasn't either but that didn't slow her down! My cousin, his wife, and kiddos were there. Sarah and Alyssa were attached at the hip when we got there. We cooked out, ate alot (yummy carrot cake and a heath bar cake..holy moly!) the guys fished, hung deer stands, the kids played in and out..in and out..in and out! Tobin and I both said..if the job market was better there we would MOVE THERE in a HEARTBEAT! Its just a great place. Sunday my cousin, his kids, my mom, Sarah, and I went to the skating rink..it was Sarah's first time. It was so much fun..by the end of it Sarah was skating without holding any ones hand. She did great! We got home LATE Sunday night, and yesterday we all napped from 1:45-5:00, and all went to bed early. I am trying to kick this cold and Sarah is on the downhill side.
On a much sadder note..we had two casualties while we were gone. Sarah's fish was found laying on the bottom of its tank..which she didn't even notice till this morning (that he was missing..we flushed him when we got home and found him). So we had to make an unexpected trip into Denton today to buy the EXACT same fish..which we did. We got home and I went to feed her frog..sucker is dead in the bottom of his cage. No, I haven't told her..I will leave that one to Tobin. I can not handle anymore heartache!

This is Sarah and Alyssa..I know the hats! They were having some sort of party and had to wear them!
Check out my mom and her socks! Ha!
